Pink Pewter CEO, Mireya Villarreal, presented as the Key Note Speaker at the annual awards night of the Louisville, Kentucky Chapter of NAWBO, the National Association of Women Business Owners. NAWBO, a proponent of women’s empowerment, is in its 40th year of the advancement of women in the business world. The evening celebrated female business owners that have crossed various thresholds of advancement from start up to established success through its Strive, Survive and Thrive, Influencer Award and other awards.
Mireya delivered a message of hope and endurance to ambitious women seeking personal and professional success through her own story. She shared the details of her creative instincts for fashion which began at her kitchen table a decade ago, making headbands for her daughter, and is now and is a catalog of beauty accessories, cosmetics and equipment sold to consumers and professionals through some of the world’s largest retailers, e-commerce leaders and professional equipment suppliers in 42 countries around the globe.
She presented the challenges and victories of her experience to an audience of female business owners, executive managers, bankers and other financial professionals in attendance from the Southeast and Midwest.
