Your next chapter starts here. From Chair to Boss Live and My Salon Suite are awarding 5 Pathway to Independence Grants to help licensed beauty and wellness professionals who are ready to start their business take a bold step toward their own independent suite space.

Grant Opportunity: 5 winners will be selected. Each winner receives one $1,000 grant.

The grant will be provided directly to the selected My Salon Suite location of choice in the recipientā€™s name to cover their security deposit. Any remaining balance will be applied toward their first month of rent.

License / Certification Requirement

This grant is designed only for licensed beauty and wellness professionals who are ready to start their business. To qualify, you must be a new, incoming licensed professional. Current My Salon Suite leaseholders and individuals with existing reservation deposits are not eligible.

General Rules

  • Applicant must be a licensed beauty or wellness professional who is ready to start their business.
  • Applicant must be a new, incoming licensed professional.
  • Current My Salon Suite leaseholders and individuals with existing reservation deposits are not eligible for the grant.
  • Applicant must be legally eligible to work in their professional beauty or wellness field.
  • Five recipients will be selected. Each recipient will receive one $1,000 grant.
  • The grant will not be paid directly to the applicant.
  • The grant will be provided directly to the selected My Salon Suite location of choice in the applicantā€™s name to cover their security deposit.
  • Any remaining balance will be applied toward the recipientā€™s first month of rent.
  • Submission must include a completed application. Video uploads are optional.
  • Videos do not need to be professionally produced. Raw phone videos are acceptable.
  • Application deadline is August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM CT.
  • The selected grant recipient will be contacted by September 8, 2026.
  • The selected grant recipient must be present at From Chair to Boss Live on September 28, 2026 to accept the grant.
  • Travel, hotel, transportation, and event tickets are not provided as part of this grant.
  • Incomplete applications may be disqualified.
  • Selection is based on eligibility, story, readiness, passion, and how the grant will support the applicantā€™s pathway to independence.
  • By submitting, applicant gives From Chair to Boss Live, Pink Pewter Foundation, and My Salon Suite permission to review the application and contact applicant regarding this opportunity.
